Extracts one instrument ID or a sequence into a normalized, non-empty list.

Duplicate IDs are removed in first-occurrence order.

ยงErrors

Returns an error if:

  • The value is not an instrument ID or a sequence of instrument IDs.
  • The sequence is empty.
