Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) defines prohibited and restricted uses of NautilusTrader proprietary products and services provided by Nautech Systems Pty Ltd (“Nautech Systems”).
2. Scope
This AUP applies to users of proprietary products and services accessed through licensed or subscription-based channels. Use of the open-source NautilusTrader software outside of Nautech Systems–operated services is not contractually governed by this AUP, but the principles herein are provided as guidance for responsible use.
3. General Requirement
You must use the services in a lawful and responsible manner and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, exchange rules, and contractual obligations.
4. Prohibited Conduct
- Market manipulation or abuse, including wash trading, spoofing, layering, or pump-and-dump schemes.
- Financial crime, including fraud, misrepresentation, or misappropriation of funds.
- Money laundering or terrorist financing, in violation of applicable AML/CTF laws.
- Sanctions evasion or restricted activity, including violations of applicable sanctions or export controls.
- Abuse of infrastructure, including attempting to bypass safeguards, evade licence or access controls, scrape or interfere with service infrastructure, or disrupt the operation or integrity of the services.
- Violation of third-party rights, including infringement of intellectual property rights or breach of third-party licence terms, such as data redistribution restrictions.
5. No Monitoring Obligation
Nautech Systems does not undertake to monitor user activity or detect violations of this AUP. The absence of monitoring does not constitute approval of any conduct.
6. Enforcement
Nautech Systems may investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action, including suspension or termination of access, where reasonably necessary to protect users, counterparties, or the integrity of the services, or to comply with legal obligations.
7. Relationship to Other Documents
This AUP is incorporated by reference into the Terms of Service where expressly referenced therein. In the event of any inconsistency, the Terms of Service prevail.
8. Changes
This AUP may be updated from time to time. Updated versions will be published on the NautilusTrader website.
