Partners
NautilusTrader partners with established technology and data providers, along with selected trading venues, creating an ecosystem built for performance, security, and compliance.
Partners are chosen based on offerings that extend the platform's core capabilities. Each integration must meet strict technical and infrastructure requirements so the platform maintains the real-time performance and reliability the community expects.
Venue partners
Venue partners are exchanges and trading venues that combine deep liquidity, low-latency infrastructure, and operational reliability. Each integration is selected to meet the execution quality and operational standards that serious systematic traders, market makers, and proprietary desks expect from production-grade infrastructure.
NautilusTrader is supported by partnership agreements with each partner venue, with rebates received from attributed order flow. Users pay standard venue fees – these arrangements do not increase trading costs.

Architect Exchange (AX)
Regulated perpetual futures for traditional financial assets
Architect Exchange (AX) is the first centralized and regulated exchange for perpetual futures on traditional underlying asset classes. Regulated by the Bermuda Monetary Authority, AX offers standardized, centrally cleared perpetual contracts on foreign currencies, interest rates, single stocks, stock indexes, metals, energy, and commodities.
Perpetual contracts never expire, removing the cost, complexity, and contango associated with rolling traditional futures. AX combines this with anonymous central limit order books and high-performance matching engine technology, purpose-built for systematic and algorithmic workflows.
Traditional-asset perpetuals – Trade FX, equities, indexes, rates, metals, and energy as perpetual contracts with no expiry or rolling.
Regulated exchange – Licensed under the Bermuda Monetary Authority with full regulatory oversight and risk management.
Low-latency matching – Matching engine backed by Connamara Technologies, with real-time margin calculations and integrated clearing.
Flexible collateral – Post collateral with traditional USD rails or USD-based stablecoins, with trading available around the clock.
INTEGRATION DETAILS
NautilusTrader integrates with AX through the nautilus-architect-ax crate over its REST and WebSocket interfaces, providing access to perpetual futures on traditional financial assets from within the NautilusTrader engine.
The Nautilus integration ID is automatically added to the tag field of every order placed by a user-controlled NautilusTrader node, providing transparent order attribution.

dYdX
Decentralized perpetual futures on a sovereign appchain
dYdX is one of the largest decentralized perpetual futures exchanges, offering an alternative venue for decentralized liquidity across crypto markets. Perpetuals settle on chain without intermediaries or custodians, with a public, permissionless validator set securing every block.
With v4, dYdX migrated from a StarkEx-based Layer 2 to its own sovereign appchain built on the Cosmos SDK and CometBFT consensus. Full nodes maintain in-memory orderbooks, and the block proposer commits matched fills to state at every block. The re-architecture targets lower latency, higher throughput, and stronger reliability than v3, with the protocol kept fully open source.
Cosmos-based appchain – Sovereign chain on the Cosmos SDK with CometBFT BFT consensus and ~1 second block times for fast finality.
In-memory orderbook – Full nodes maintain in-memory orderbooks; the block proposer commits matched fills on chain at every block.
Gas-free orders – Order placement and cancellation incur no gas; only filled trades pay the standard taker and maker fees.
Decentralized liquidity – Open-source protocol and permissionless validator set provide a non-custodial venue for crypto perpetuals.
INTEGRATION DETAILS
NautilusTrader integrates with the dYdX Chain through the nautilus-dydx crate over its gRPC, REST, and WebSocket interfaces, providing access to perpetual markets from within the NautilusTrader engine.
The Nautilus integration address is set on the order_router_address field of every order placed by a user-controlled NautilusTrader node, providing transparent order attribution.

Lighter
Order book DEX for spot and perpetual futures on a ZK rollup
Lighter is a high-throughput central-limit-order-book decentralized crypto exchange for spot and perpetual futures, settling on Ethereum via a custom zero-knowledge rollup. Order matching is performed off-chain by a sequencer, with ZK proofs published on-chain to guarantee correctness of matching, fills, and liquidations.
Trading is non-custodial: users hold their assets in Lighter's smart contracts and authorise trades with their own keys.
Central limit order book – Spot and perpetual futures matched in a price-time priority order book rather than through an automated market maker.
Off-chain matching, on-chain proofs – A sequencer matches orders off-chain while zero-knowledge proofs published on-chain guarantee matching, fills, and liquidations.
Non-custodial – Users hold their assets in Lighter's smart contracts and authorise trades with their own keys.
Settled on Ethereum – A custom zero-knowledge rollup settles trading activity on Ethereum for high-throughput, verifiable execution.
INTEGRATION DETAILS
